Wellington at Preston Meadows Board of Directors

Wellington at Preston Meadows has three Board positions, one of which is open for re-election at each annual meeting, generally the first Thursday in March. Each Board position is elected for a three-year term. These are strictly volunteer positions, and typically each Board member has a full-time job in addition to this service.

Current Board of Directors members are:

Wellington at Preston Meadows Committees

    Architectural Control Committee

    This committee reviews replacement of fences, additions, pools, exterior painting, roofing, etc. for existing homes in our subdivision. Volunteers can help protect their investment in their home by ensuring home improvement projects in Wellington are built at or above the minimum standards included in the Covenants & Restrictions. Some construction knowledge is helpful, but is not required.

    Currently our social events consist of

      * an annual neighborhood garage sale in the spring
      * a neighborhood night out in the fall
      * wagon rides to view holiday lights in Deerfield around Christmas.

    Crime Watch Committee

    This Committee provides key safety and crime information to our community by utilizing block captains and our website's email system to communicate vital information as it's received.

What is a Webmaster?

A Webmaster is the administrator of a website.

Generally, a webmaster's responsibilities include:

  • Register and maintain the website's domain name and email addresses
  • Maintain uptime on the web, database, and SMTP farms
  • Design the website, or direct page designers and software developers
  • Monitor the size of the site to ensure allowed bandwidth and disk space is not exceeded
  • Plan future growth, requirements and limitations of the website

The Webmaster cannot answer questions regarding your HOA dues, grant access to the pool, or provide any information about the inner-workings of the HOA, events, budget's, ACC approvals, etc.
